Gary E. Leeper, Vice President & CEO
Gary Leeper, Vice President and CEO has been with IMI for over 20 years and has completed a six year professional development program for association executives in the Institutes for Organization Management. Gary is a registered lobbyist in Colorado and has developed strategy on many legislative issues. He has been successful in working with regulatory agencies on behalf of our client organizations.
Gary has organized many conferences and trade shows as well as educational programs. His ability to work within the confines of pre-determined budgets, find appropriate speakers and work with exhibitors and decorators has made him a valuable member of the team.
He has been active in successfully resolving issues between state and regional chapters and their national associations. He has developed a strong liaison with organizations all over the country that are similar to our clients. This gives him unique and critical networking opportunities. In this time of change in volunteer organizations, Gary has been successful in guiding associations to develop programs that benefit the members.
He knows that volunteers in associations are busy people and their time is limited. He is constantly finding new ways to reach the goals of the association and the volunteer through innovative communication and programs. His leadership qualities and team building skills are important to the forward progress of our client associations.
Gary has strong belief in working with the community. For the past eight years he has volunteered his time and effort to work with North Denver area schools.
Gary is active in the American Society of Association Executives, the International Institute of Association Management Companies and the Colorado Society of Association Executives.
